God Plans Change of Heart For Leaders

God chose Saul for Israel. He sent down His Spirit upon Saul to change him into another man. "Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them (sons of prophets) and be turned into another man...So it was, when he had turned his back to go from Samuel (the prophet) that God gave him (Saul) another heart..." 1 Samuel 10: 6 & 9. From above, God makes provision to mold the heart of a leader into a good person that would serve His people. But many do not take the grace for a change of heart. The forget the experiences they have been through in the past which God uses to mold their hearts. Who Is Our Leader?

The problems we face as an organisation or a nation is not only with leaders but with those who surround them. A leader’s reign is made or marred depending on who his/her assistants, advisers are. Rehoboam, a king of Israel, at the beginning of his reign was approached by the people to tell them what his reign would look like. Rehoboam consulted the elders that sat before his father Solomon as mentees/assistants/advisers and they counselled him, having learnt wisdom for many years before his father. How Shall We Escape?

​How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? How shall we escape, if we ignore the oppression of the poor? The violence of the wicked will destroy them, because they refuse to do justice. Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, will also cry himself and not be heard...God's standard is equal justice, for He is no respecter of person.
