Tumbling and rumbling, the clouds, dark as hell, raged with tempest and hurriedly passed by. The sea churned in turmoil. Men rowed and toiled, gripped by fear, their hearts heavy with the weight of peril. “Where is the Master?” they cried out, their voices swallowed by the storm. Fear seized their souls. Their lives flashed before their eyes. The night was so dark, and the dawn seemed distant—yet the day came.

Does this mirror your own journey? Does this storm describe you?

But lo, the raging tempest begins to subside. The darkness trembles and retreats. He has spoken. His words command the oceans, and the storm obeys.

Wait—I hear a flying being crying aloud:
“Eat His words! Fill your belly with them! They are as sweet as honey!”

Faith wells up inside him, stirring like embers rekindled. He gathers his resolve and cries out:

“Bid me to come, Master!”
“Come!” The Spirit says, “Come!” The Master says, “Come!” No matter the tempest, it cannot swallow thee. My eyes are on the Lord. My faith is in His words. He steps out into the deep at the Master’s command—neither afraid nor doubtful.
Waiting for Him who, is the Master of the universe. The Lord of Lords. The King of Kings. The One by whom, through whom, and for whom all things, all beings, were made. By Him, all were made.

The Eternal Word that became flesh.
“Bid me to come!” He says, “Come!” He walks on water as if on solid ground. By faith, the just shall live. Faith in His words, coupled with action on our feet. How beautiful are the feet of those who run with good tidings! Neither afraid nor weary, they climb upon the high places of the earth, proclaiming, “The Lord reigns!”

Bring the flute and harp; sing praises to His holy name—to the One who sits on the throne forever. Neither created nor born. The Majesty on High. Sing praises to His holy name. Worship Him in the beauty of holiness.

“Bid me to come!” He steps upon the water, walking on a solid rock—the Eternal Rock of Ages. His words are like a rock.

Fear not, O ye sons and daughters of the Most High God, for thy God lives forever! The storm may rage, but He is your refuge. The name of the Lord is our strong tower—call it into the situation!

Let the wind blow. Let the foundations of the earth be shaken—be not moved! For He is Lord. Despite the darkness and the raging storm, He walks upon the water with speed. You can!

The night fades away. Behold the breaking of a new dawn. Quietly, the dawn emerges. A bluish-silver light appears, gradually brightening the horizon. A gentle breeze. It is as though there was never darkness, nor tempest of the night, nor raging sea. The dawn emerges, so bright—white as snow, carrying the freshness of a new beginning.

The beauty of holiness! The day has come. Rise up, for thy salvation has come! Thy deliverance has arrived! That which you have long awaited has finally come.

Give glory to His holy name. Praise Him in the morning. Worship Him in the beauty of holiness, for our God lives forever. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. Worship Him in the beauty of holiness, in a holy array, out of the womb of the morning.

Make His words your assurance. Armed with His promises, step boldly into the new day, walking in the fulfillment of God’s purposes on earth. Do not tremble at the circumstances of life, for He who has called you—and in whom you abide—is far above all things.

Feed on His word. Declare His word over every circumstance. Worship Him in the beauty of holiness; behold—His deliverance will spring forth before your eyes!

Jesus Walks on the Water – Matthew 14:22-33 (NKJV)

22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. 24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. 25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” 28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” 31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
