Love Forever

Unquenchable. Flowing pure and endlessly. Sweeter than honey. Gentle yet intense is this Love, eternal and unwavering. I awoke upon my bed, drawn deeply within myself, overwhelmed by a sense of purpose I could not yet understand. A streaming light appeared before me, followed by swift-moving clouds, white and billowing. Though fully awake, I realized it was a vision.

“Come up higher!” My heart reverberated with the command, and I ascended—straight into the wings of the cloud. Faster than any jet, it felt as though a divine cord had been fastened to my spirit, pulling me with irresistible force. I could not resist the powerful suction, drawn in the eternal streams of light pouring from Him to me, drawing my spirit ever closer.

Oh, I let myself into Him. His love pulled so strongly. His Spirit was bonded with mine, pulling me deeper into the mighty light and the swirling whitish clouds. The force of the pull was so overwhelming that I feared there would be no return.

Friends, God’s love is stronger than wine, more intoxicating than any earthly drink. Man created wine to intoxicate and overwhelm the senses, making men and women powerless under its influence. But that is only a faint echo of the overpowering influence of divine love on the human heart. The closest you can imagine to being consumed by the love of the Almighty is this, yet even that comparison is inadequate.

His love draws us with overwhelming intensity. A love beyond compare—so strong, so irresistible, that no earthly experience could ever match its depth. The love of God in our hearts is an unbreakable force, one that we can never fully comprehend. In the vision, it felt as if there was no point of return—a perfect state, a perfect experience of divine union. His love drew me deeper, more intensely, into this endless and glorious light.

The force was too great—too intense, yet so sweet. His Spirit enveloped me, mightier than the rushing clouds at their highest altitudes. I was captivated by the overwhelming love, a love far beyond human comprehension. And in that moment, there was nothing else. No turbulence, no chaos—only the eternal, unshakable love of God drawing me closer.

Same experience echoed in the Song of Solomon, Chapter 8, verses 6 to 8 (Message version):
“Hang my locket around your neck,
    wear my ring on your finger.
Love is invincible facing danger and death.
    Passion laughs at the terrors of hell.
The fire of love stops at nothing—
    it sweeps everything before it.
Flood waters can’t drown love,
    torrents of rain can’t put it out.
Love can’t be bought, love can’t be sold—
    it’s not to be found in the marketplace.”

That is a slight glimpse of the love of God. You may doubt the intent or the context of the above passage in the Song of Solomon. Still, divine truth was embedded in it, which we can prove with the scriptures in the New Testament. Let’s extract some critical phrases from above and match them to the New Testament scriptures:

“His love is invincible,” that is, it cannot be conquered by death. His love overcomes all things. His love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:7-8). Glory be to God!

“The fire of love stops at nothing.” God did not give up on us as humanity despite the fall of Adam and Eve. He wanted man back to His side to fellowship with Him. He spared nothing. Absolutely nothing! Paul said in Romans 8:32, “He did not spare his own Son, but gave Him up for us all.” Hallelujah! Nothing could stop Him from demonstrating who He is to us. He is love.

His Love can’t be bought, nor be sold. No! You can’t. No amount of silver and gold can buy divine love. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. He so loved humanity that He gave His Son. Do you believe Jesus is your Lord and Savior by His death and resurrection as a prize for sin atonement?

His love is divine! His love is real without shades of grey. His love is eternal, burning with unquenchable flame. God is love. There is no other way to describe love. Not erotic love. Not a feeling that cannot be trusted. God is trustworthy. He won’t stop loving you tomorrow, even if you betray His trust. He is ever loving. He never changes His mind about loving you and I. You can count on Him.

The questions are: Do you seek to know Him more? Do you seek to see the reality of His love in your life? Do you just go through life not knowing what God has prepared freely for you? God’s love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).

How do I know His love? If that is your question, it is simple, though not so. To answer your questions, let me probe a little. Do you believe Jesus came from God to the earth to show us the Way to the Father? Do you think that He became the Way for us? Do you believe that when He hung on the cross and said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing” and that “they” included you? Do you believe Jesus is the only Way to come to the Father God?

I am His Child

If your answer is yes to all my questions, then you are His child, and you can look deep within yourself and sense His love for you. Just think how He has shown you mercy in many phases of life, though you did not even know His invisible Eyes were and are guiding you. Think momentarily and sense how real His love is to us all. His is love.

But if your answers to the questions are No, I can guide you to Him. You can begin to sense His love from this very moment. Just say the following out to yourself and believe it, because God says, “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10. His love is for all, including you.

Lord Jesus, I believe in my heart all You did for me. I believe that You came in the flesh, lived, and died for my sins. You blotted out my sins with Your blood. You rose and forever living at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Thank You for doing all this for me. Thank You for forgiving me of all my sins. You are now my Lord and my Savior. Thank you, Father. I am born again. And from this day, my life is now lived according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

That is it! You will know deep inside you that you now have peace with God. You are now born again. It is supernatural. With your confession and faith in God, He has deposited His Holy Spirit in you.

As children of God, He deposits His love in our hearts (spirits) so that we can sense Him. His love guides us. Are you conscious of Him or doing it your own way? Will you allow Him to reign over your life? Stop struggling without Him! He is gentle. He won’t force you, but you can yield to Him and let Him guide you in life.

Whether you realize it or not, His love for you never diminishes. He is for you, not against you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. As you seek love in the physical realm, remember His love never fails. You can pour your affection on Him, and He will fill you more and more with the reality of His love that surpasses any human love. He values you more than you can imagine, and His love for you is unwavering.

Stir His heart up with your quest for Him. Yearn after Him as a deer pants after water – like everything depends on it. Yearn for Him. Let your heart pulsate after God, your Maker, your Redeemer. The God of all the earth and heavens.

Give Him your heart, and He will give you more than you can ever think or imagine. He is always on our side, never against us. Let’s give Him every aspect of our life, every worry, every joy, every fear. In fact, I heard, ‘Give Him everything.’ Don’t hide anything from Him. He knows all things, and His love envelops and protects you in every situation. Amen!
