From heavenly throne He shed His crown, donned dust of mortal skin,
A whispered hymn, “God with us,” as newborn cries began.
Bethlehem’s night, a canvas bright, where hope painted on the breeze,
Christ-child’s first breath, a promise whispered through the trees.

Alas! The King was born in Bethlehem.
He sprouted like a vine, kissed by sunlit morning dew,
In the beauty of holiness,
Where living waters flowed, whispers of what He’d do.
Endued with Holy Ghost and power,
Went about doing good and healing,
Those oppressed and depressed by the devils,
For God was with Him. Acts 10:38.

His path, though brief, a tapestry of love unfolded,
The Lamb of God who bore the sin of the world. John 1:29.
Scorned, spat upon, He held the silence close and dear,
His love for fallen souls, a flame both strong and clear.
Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish,
But have an everlasting life. John 3:16

Believe, and darkness flees, replaced by endless Light,
A symphony of joy, where shadows have no bite.
His name, a whispered prayer, a shield against the night,
Confession’s sweet refrain, “Jesus, my Lord and Savior.”

The child who took the cross, His gaze serene and true,
Obedient to the Father’s will, forever seeing through.
He paid the price of sin, a bridge from death to eternal life,
Eternal dawn awaits those believing in Him, beyond this mortal strife.

Found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself. Philippians 2:8
His sacrifice unbound, a wound that heals so far.
Jesus! The author and finisher of our faith!
Set His face like a flint before the gruesome day,
Endured the cross and despised the shame
Becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Hebrews 12:2.

One Lord, one Savior, none will compare,
He lived, He died, He climbed the golden stair.
Know Him, and life unfolds its endless day,
No shadow lingers, death melts far away.

The King who bore our burdens sat at the right Hand on High,
Do you know Him, bathed in heavenly light?
Know Him, and grasp the life He offers free,
Embrace His grace, and live eternally.
